Public Policy Polling
Quote: New Mexico is probably the state Bush took in 2004 that Barack Obama will have the easiest time winning this time around, said Dean Debnam, President of Public Policy Polling. Part of this large lead may be a product of last weeks economic crisis but even if things return to normal this is a place where the Democrats are going to have a significant advantage.

Quote: Although the two-point lead is not statistically significant in a poll with a four-point margin of sampling error, its quite an improvement for McCain from August. At that time, Obama was ahead 48% to 44% (with leaners included). Since then, the Republican has gained ground among Hispanic voters and those not affiliated with either major party.
