Results are based on telephone interviews with 1200 registered voters in Michigan, aged 18+, and conducted September 25-27, 2005. The margin of sampling error is ±3 percentage points. 1. Hurricane Katrina? 8. Do you think Michigan is headed in the
right direction or the wrong direction? 9. Do you approve or disapprove of President
Bush's nomination of Judge John Roberts to be Chief Justice of
the United States Supreme Court? 10. Would you like to see the United States
Supreme Court overturn the Roe v. Wade decision that makes abortions
legal in the United States? 11. The cost to the federal government for
rebuilding the Gulf Coast after Hurricane Katrina is expected
to exceed $200 billion. In order to pay for the costs of rebuilding
the Gulf Coast, would you favor raising federal taxes? 12. The cost to the federal government for
