Christie Corzine Daggett Polls

HIGHLIGHTS

Corzine (D) 39%, Christie (R) 39%, Daggett (I) 14%.
Christie held a 12% lead on July 14 before the popularity of Daggett siphoned away votes.
McDonnell (R) 49%, Deeds (D) 41%.

Two states are holding Governor elections on November 3, 2009: New Jersey and Virginia. Both seats are currently held by Democrats but Republicans have a great shot at winning both seats.

There are 28 Democratic Governors and 22 Republican Governors. By winning both of these races, Republicans would narrow the margin to 26-24.
