» Commentary by Kris Lazaro (registered Democrat)

As swine flu continues to spread across the country, with cases reported in every state of the union, ironically Americans are now less concerned with the virus. Americans have fortunately realized that swine flu is cyclical and with this country's public health message of avoidance and our ability to cure the virus, public fears are starting to subside.

The swine flu, or the H1N1 virus, is a perennial virus that comes and goes throughout the world population. The only reason why this year's strains were so virulent was because it hit in populations were anti-viral drugs were not readily distrubuted.

Americans need not fear this virus, for our scientists have been working on several vaccines and have already stifled the spread of this virus.
