  • 58% of U.S. voters now say the president is likely to do so

» Commentary by Kris Lazaro (registered Democrat)

Americans are feeling less confident about the commander-in-chief being able to bring back home our troops abroad, according to a new Rasmussen telephone survey.

With rising tensions abroad, and the definite threat of Al-Qaeda looming, the President may have to keep our troops where they are, if not sending more troops out.

While this may sound like a good idea, this author disagrees.

We have been spending so much money abroad, economically funding the military, that we have been suffering here at home.

Let us bring back the troops and curtail our defense spending.

This author hopes that the President realizes this and recant his ideology about keeping our troops abroad.
