Americans Still Worried About Identity Theft

83% of U.S. adults are still concerned about having their identities stolen online
Men (40%) and women (54%) under 40 are more concerned about identity theft than men (39%) and women (46%) over 40
African-Americans (52%) are more worried than whites (43%)

With the economy struggling, more Americans are worried about identity theft, especially online identity theft. According to a recent Rasmussen poll, 83% of U.S. adults are still concerned about having their identities stolen online. And not surprisingly, those making more than $100k a year are more worried about identity theft than those making less than the said amount.
