Americans Want To End Isolation With Cuba4/23/09 Tags: Foreign Relations From Gallup (conducted: 4/20-21/09)
» Commentary by Kris Lazaro (registered Democrat) Americans are tired of isolating Cuba. In a recent Gallup survey the polling organization found that great majorities want the US to end its isolation from Cuba from several factors, including travel restrictions, diplomatic relations, and trade. Americans are fed up with isolating Cuba and preventing them from advancing their culture. This news comes to light as President Obama is weighing the costs and benefits from lifting the economic embargo on Cuba. To this author it is about time to lift these restrictions. Cuba is no longer a threat to this country and should be allowed to freely trade and communicate with other countries.
