» Commentary by Kris Lazaro (registered Democrat)

With news of China's top government banker and a UN panel proposing that the dollar be replaced with a new global currency, Americans recently polled by Rasmussen state that the national currency of the United States should remain the dollar.

Changing the currency will indeed weaken this country's economy and will further weaken our economic stance in the world. To this author it is in this country's best interest to keep the dollar as this country's currency. By changing our money to a global currency, we subject our economy to global influences.
