61% of voters believe Bush will be remembered as a below average president.
27% of voters said average, 10% said above average.
Bush had low below average marks until the middle of 2006, when he reached 50% for the first time.

Most Americans feel that Bush will be remembered as a below average president. Bush was our 43rd president so he is definitely considered as the bottom 20 of the whole lot. But how many Americans really know anything about any of the other non-recent presidents. So I am leery of a poll conducted in this way because there's no standard that an average presdident falls into. Then the results are increasingly dependent on question wording, etc.

What this polls proves is that Bush is considered borderline incompetent, lol. When voters are asked to rank the best presidents in our history, there is a extreme bias towards the more recent presidents.... Because people know them. For Bush to be this low, regardless of question wording, is pretty pathetic for him.
