  • Since late 1999, Hillary Clinton's favorable ratings have been around 50%, ranging from a low of 44% in March 2001 to a high of 58% in February 2007

» Commentary by Kris Lazaro (registered Democrat)

As Hillary Clinton is being confirmed by the Senate today as the new Secretary of State, Mrs. Clinton is enjoying one of her highest favorable ratings in ten years. Even after her historic run as her party's nominee for president, clinton is as popular now as when right after her husband's impeachment in 1999.

This author believes Hillary will be a great secretary of state. She will use her knowledge and seek the guidance of others to properply assess situations and confront issues directly. After this, she will also be able to catapult and improve her resume for a potential run for the presidency after Barack Obama leaves office (hopefully after 8 years).

America will become a different place now that we have representatives in charge for and by the people.
