60% believe Guantanamo Bay should not be closed in June 2009.
53% believed Guantanamo Bay should not be closed in April 2009, it was 45% in January.
Support for Guantanamo Bay being open has been increasing throughout Obama's presidency.

The major issue that the Republican party can latch onto is the fact that 60% of Americans want Guantanamo Bay to remain open. Another 60% of people do not want any released prisoners on US soil.

And a WHOPPING 77% of people feel that Obama is making a mistake by "announcing he was going to close the prison at Guantanamo Bay before having a plan for what would happen to the detainees".
