Number Of Christians In America Is Declining4/11/09 Tags: Religion From Gallup (conducted: 1948-2008)
» Commentary by Kris Lazaro (registered Democrat) Similar to another poll regarding Catholic mass attendance decline, an annual poll conducted by Gallup finds that there is a general decline in the number of Christians in America througout the past decades. The polling organization asked whether one identifies one's self has either Christian or not, and surprisingly, througout the years, this percentage has been declining. Are Americans become less and less religious? As we move towards global advancements and other such innnovations, are we as a society forgetting and leaving our religious roots? Only time will tell and will judge whether religion will be an integral part of this society, or merely an afterthought. Editor's Note: Js-Kit has been non-functional for the past few days.
